Thomas Keneally and The Inheritors

The Australian author Thomas Keneally has named William Golding’s The Inheritors as one of the most ‘underrated books’ in an interview with The Guardian. Keneally won the Booker Prize in 1982 for Schindler’s Ark, two years after Golding won it for Rites of Passage. Golding considered The Inheritors his favourite out of all his novels.
