The Inheritors Audiobook

The actor David Dawson is the narrator of a new audiobook version of Golding’s 1955 novel The Inheritors. Dawson has had a successful career in theatre, film and television, and is perhaps most famous for his roles in The Last Kingdom and Ripper Street. The Inheritors, Golding’s favourite amongst his novels, tells the story of a group of Neanderthals who are threatened by the emergence of Homo Sapiens.
