Lord of the Flies: The Graphic Novel longlisted for Carnegie Medal
Aimée de Jongh has been longlisted for the Carnegie Medal for Illustration for Lord of the Flies: The Graphic Novel!
Published in the UK in 2024 by Faber, the graphic novel has since been translated and printed worldwide. De Jongh’s brilliantly atmospheric and striking adaptation has been recognised by the Carnegies, the UK’s longest running book awards for children and young people. She joins a prestigious group of writers and illustrators on the 2026 list. The shortlist will be announced on Tuesday 12th March.
