The exhibition will feature original artwork from Aimée de Jongh‘s graphic novel adaptation of Golding’s classic, published in September 2024, iconic covers of Lord of the Flies, and legendary archival material.

Then & Now: Lord of the Flies at Seventy will run from 11-25 September 2024 in the Gallery at The Bindery, Hatton Garden, and is curated by Chris Walker in partnership with Faber. Entry is free and open to the public on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

As part of the celebration, de Jongh and Judy Golding Carver will discuss the legacy of Lord of the Flies and the graphic novel in a special event for Faber Members.  The event takes places on 18th September and tickets are priced at £12.
