To mark the launch of new editions of Golding’s novels, the Cheltenham Literature Festival is hosting an event: William Golding: Beyond Lord of the Flies. Author of the foreword to the new edition of Fire Down Below, Kate Mosse, will be joined by Golding’s daughter Judy (Golding) Carver, and Professor Tim Kendall, University of Exeter. The panel will discuss Golding’s extraordinary collection of work, and will explore his radical and innovative prose.
