Round-up of William Golding in the news in August 2018!

Casting for an all-female adaptation of Lord of the Flies was announced by What’s On Stage. This new play will open in Mold, Wales on 20th September, before transferring to Cardiff.

Variety reported on an upcoming television adaptation of Kevin Wignall’s forthcoming novel When We Were Lost. The article describes the book as combining ‘elements of Lord of the Flies and the hit show Lost.’ Lost had its roots in Golding’s novel – read more here.
